Life is fragile

The waking up to sad news is heartbreakingly alarming 😢 We often spend hopeful evenings with no clue what tomorrow will bring, then wake up to sad news of the passing of our beloveds. Life is fragile; life is short. Haven’t we yet realized that we’re here but for a moment? Life is fragile—oh, that we might hope in Christ! Life is fragile—oh, that we might gratefully take advantage of our moment to love and serve God and His people. Life is fragile! Oh, that we might live our seconds to the fullest! Life is fragile, life is short—oh, that we might learn how to number our days.
